Drop it you fool!

Dear Tony,
After an incredible wayward drive, I approached my ball and realized my shot was close to the driving range. I suddenly imagined myself to be a moving target with an orange cap on my head. I was as scared as eating at Umberto’s in Manhattan, New York during the late eighties. Should I have had gotten a free relief out of that hazardous situation?
Wet Pants
Dear Wet Pants,
As an avid golfer in Florida, unda the watchful of hungry gators, I know the pressure of hitting a ball with the fear of death on your mind and getting a good shot off. The rules do try their best to keep you safe from death.
Decision 1-4/10 provides relief from imminent dangers like bees nest’s or rattlesnakes, but they do not provide for common occurrences of da course. Unfortunately having errant balls flying your way is just like life. It’s hit or miss. If you were that scarred, you should have taken an unplayable lie unda Rule 28. You would have taken a penalty stroke
But that’s a small price to pay for making sure you don’t wind up like Joey Gallo.

Muscle Cramps
Unfortunately, the exact cause of muscle cramping is largely unknown. Researchers believe that there are many factors which may be contributory to cramping such as:
Have you ever experienced a sudden, tight and intense pain caused by a muscle locked in
spasm? Have you ever been woken up by muscle contractions that you can’t stop? If you
answered yes, then you are like most people who have experienced muscle cramps. A cramp is an involuntary and forcibly contracted muscle that does not relax. They can affect almost any muscle but are most common in those which cross two joints. Most commonly cramps affect the calf, front of the thigh and back of the thigh. Cramps vary in intensity from a slight tic to an agonizing pain and tend to vary in duration from a few seconds to fifteen minutes.
Causes:
· Inadequate stretching Muscle fatigue Working in intense heat Dehydration Depletion of Salt and Minerals Structural Disorders (ie: Flat Feet) Prolonged sitting Just about everyone will experience muscle cramps at some point in their life. It can happen when you do any form of exercise. It can also happen while you sit, walk, or sleep. Some people are predisposed to muscle cramps and get them regularly with any physical exertion. Those at greatest risk are infants and young children, people over 65, and those who are ill, overweight, or use drugs or certain medications. Cramps are also very common in people who overexert themselves and in endurance athletes. Don’t be fooled though, cramps can affect anyone! Cramps usually go away and do not require medical attention. Consider the following tips to reduce the chances of experiencing cramps: Stop doing the activity that caused the cramping! Drink six to eight glasses of water daily to prevent dehydration Gently stretch the cramping muscle, holding it in the stretched position until the cramp Take a hot shower or warm bath while you’re cramping Stretch regularly throughout the day and in the evening before bedtime Apply heat to tense/tight muscles and cold to sore/tender muscles Wear proper footwear with adequate support Keep blankets loose at the foot of the bed to limit nocturnal cramps Work towards better overall fitness

Milton’s

Most recently the Godfather’s wife celebrated her 50th Birthday. Normally the Godfather does not frequent “Southern Country Restaurants”, but given the fact it was the Godfather’s wife’s birthday, an exception was made. Much to the Godfather’s delight, Milton’s Restaurant in historic Crabapple , GA was a pleasant surprise. Only opened for dinner 7 days a week, this quaint historic establishment executed many of the “attention to detail” key success factors the Godfather looks for in his dining experience.
The manager/co-owner frequented our table no less than 4 times, spending at least 5-8 minutes during each “check-in”. As we commented on the age and beauty of what we thought was an old farmhouse the restaurant was housed in, the manager told us the historic background of the building and that it was in fact an old farmhouse owned by Mr. Milton about a mile down the road from its current location where it stands today. He also fascinated us by telling us that Mr. Milton was actually a very key historic figure because he developed a certain cotton seed hybrid which was deemed more appropriate to produce a stronger more durable cotton. Another very interesting part about the restaurant is that all of the vegetables and fruit are grown right on the grounds, and picked and sent directly to the Godfather’s table. This practice is what’s called a seed to table restaurant. The obvious benefits being healthier food, free of preservatives and better tasting.
The menu consists of classic southern flair, shrimp and grits and many southern cooked fish. They have a blueberry cobbler that is traditionally warmed with a scoop of ice cream that was for the most part out of this world, but the Godfather would have liked to eat more crust and less of the fruit. Restrooms and general shape of the restaurant was impeccably and noticeably clean. Old hundred year old creaky wood floors and as a great touch, black and white photos of farm related instruments and landscaping, added a nice touch. Class in the windows was the old fashioned kind that waves and is imperfect. Lots of patio and deck areas and private room for large parties. Godfather gives Milton in historic Crabapple a 9 on a scale of 10. Pricing was a bit aggressive for a down economy.
